3 DAYS STATE VISIT TO ISRAEL - UHURU ~ :: Habari Duniani

President Uhuru Kenyatta is seen off by Deputy President William Ruto
President Uhuru Kenyatta left for Israel on Monday afternoon for a three-day state visit aimed at cementing trade, investment and security bonds.

Uhuru Kenyatta expects that cooperation on security and intelligence sharing will be heightened amid new increasing threats, said State House spokesman Manoah Esipisu.

Esipisu noted in a televised address that other than disaster management and security, Kenya has benefited from cooperation in agriculture and irrigation, health, water and sanitation and education.

He said that the continued assistance from the government of Israel has been through Israel’s agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV).

Uhuru and his entourage were seen off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by Deputy President William Ruto and other senior government officials.
